Day by day, in detail

Day 1🎬 ✍️ Bust the three myths keeping you stuck +1βŒ„

🎬 Bust the three myths keeping you stuck

β–Ά Mark Freeman Β· Three Big Intrusive Thought Myths

✍️ Name the myth you've been living by

✍️ Which of the three myths from the video have you believed the most? Write it down in your own words, plus one concrete example of something you've done because of it (googling for reassurance, avoiding a place, replaying a conversation). Then write one sentence about what you'd do differently if that myth were false.

Day 2🎬 πŸ““ Learn why fighting thoughts backfires +1βŒ„

🎬 Learn why fighting thoughts backfires

β–Ά Mark Freeman Β· Get rid of intrusive thoughts

πŸ““ Open your thought log

πŸ““ This log is your main tool for the week. Every time a sticky or intrusive thought shows up, come back here and jot it down as soon as you can. You're not logging to fight the thought β€” you're logging to see your reaction to it. The reaction is the part you can train.

Day 3πŸ” Practice one full day of not engagingβŒ„

πŸ” Practice one full day of not engaging

πŸ” Every time I noticed an intrusive thought today, I logged it and returned to what I was doing β€” without arguing with it, checking, or seeking reassurance

Day 4🎬 ✍️ Dig down to your core fears +1βŒ„

🎬 Dig down to your core fears

β–Ά Mark Freeman Β· How to identify core fears?

✍️ Map your core fear from your log

✍️ Open your thought log and look at the entries so far. Using what the video taught you, keep asking "and what would be so bad about that?" until you hit the fear underneath the surface thoughts. Write down the core fear you found in one honest sentence β€” and notice how many of your logged thoughts are just that one fear wearing different costumes.

Day 5🎬 βœ… Turn your core fear into fuel +1βŒ„

🎬 Turn your core fear into fuel

β–Ά Mark Freeman Β· Transform Core Fears

βœ… Build your values-first action plan

  • I wrote down the value hiding inside my core fear (what I care about so much that it scares me)
  • I picked one small action that moves toward that value β€” even with the fear present
  • I did that action today, without waiting to feel certain or calm first
  • I logged how the fear behaved when I acted anyway
Day 6🎬 ✍️ Spot your three relapse traps +1βŒ„

🎬 Spot your three relapse traps

β–Ά Mark Freeman Β· Three Reasons You Keep Relapsing

✍️ Write your relapse-proof plan

✍️ From the video, which of the three relapse reasons is the biggest risk for YOU? Write your early-warning sign (the first sneaky behavior that means you're sliding back β€” a check, an avoidance, a reassurance-seek) and your if-then rule: "If I catch myself doing X, then I will…". Keep it short enough to remember on a bad day.

Day 7🎯 Final challenge: a full day of practicing, not perfectingβŒ„

🎯 Final challenge: a full day of practicing, not perfecting

🎯 Spend today treating every intrusive thought as a rep at the mental gym.

The goal was never a brain with no intrusive thoughts β€” everybody has a brain, and brains make noise. The goal is a you that doesn't have to react. Today, every time a thought shows up: log it, skip the checking and the arguing, and put your energy into one values-based action instead. At the end of the day, post your proof: how many reps you got in, what your core fear tried, and how day 7 you compares to day 1 you. πŸ’ͺ
