About Duer
It's easy to watch a video about sleeping better, saving money or working out and then do nothing with it. Duer (duer.club) exists to go from watching to doing: it turns those videos into Challenges, multi-day programs with one mission a day, streaks, points, badges, groups and an AI Coach by your side.
How it works
- You accept a Challenge from a creator or from Duer. It's free, and you can view the content without an account.
- Every day you get a mission: watch a video, write, log a habit, complete a checklist or take on a small challenge.
- Your streak and points show your consistency. You can join a group to do it with others.
- The AI Coach knows your Challenge and your progress, and helps you keep going when you get stuck.
How we build Challenges
There are two kinds:
- Creator Challenges. We build them from YouTube creators' public videos: we pick videos on a topic, arrange them into days and add missions to put what each video teaches into practice. Video missions play the original video from YouTube. When a profile was put together by Duer from a creator's public content, we say so on that page. From the invitation link we send them, each creator can edit their profile and Challenge, remove or reorder videos, set a price or hide their profile.
- Duer Challenges. Duer builds them on topics such as habits, saving money, journaling, meditation or starting to run, with one practical mission a day.
How we write our guides
- Each guide answers a specific question and gives you something to do: a tool, a day-by-day plan, a list of prompts or a table.
- On wellbeing topics we cite at least two sources, listed at the end of the guide.
- For now we don't publish guides on topics that need a professional's judgment, such as diagnoses, treatments or investment decisions.
- Each guide shows when it was last updated, and we review it before it appears in search engines.
What Duer is not
Duer doesn't replace a health, psychology or finance professional. Challenges and the AI Coach are general support. If you are going through a hard time, look for professional help; if you are in danger, contact your local emergency services.
For creators
If you make videos that teach something, Duer gives your community a way to put it into practice. You can learn about the creator program or email us.
