Day by day, in detail
Day 1π¬ βοΈ Watch the 5 boring habits and spot the one you're missing +1β
βοΈ Pick one boring habit and do the first rep today
βοΈ Which of the habits from the video would move the needle most for you right now β and which one made you wince because you know you've been avoiding it? Pick ONE, then do the smallest possible first rep in the next hour: move $10 to savings, cancel one subscription, cook instead of ordering. Write down which habit you chose and exactly what you just did.
Day 2π¬ β Steal Gabe's minimalist paycheck routine +1β
π¬ Steal Gabe's minimalist paycheck routine
β Sketch your own paycheck flow in 15 minutes
- I wrote down, line by line, where my next paycheck will go before I touch it
- I set a fixed amount or percentage that gets saved or invested first, every payday
- I set up (or scheduled) one automatic transfer so that money moves without me
- I found one recurring charge I don't really use and canceled it
Day 3π Open your money log and catch every leakβ
π Open your money log and catch every leak
π This log is your core tool for the rest of the challenge. From now until day 7, record every purchase you make AND every urge to buy that you notice β even the ones you resist. Don't judge, just capture it. Seeing your spending in writing is what turns vague guilt into a system you control.
Day 4π¬ βοΈ Watch the only plan you need for the next 90 days +1β
π¬ Watch the only plan you need for the next 90 days
βοΈ Write your 90-day money plan on one page
βοΈ Using what you just watched, write your plan for the next 90 days in a few lines: one number you're chasing (saved, invested, or debt paid off), how much you'll put toward it each payday, one expense you're cutting, and one thing you'll do to earn or grow more. If it doesn't fit on one page, it's too complicated to follow.
Day 5π¬ π Learn why not upgrading is a superpower +1β
π¬ Learn why not upgrading is a superpower
π Run a no-upgrade day
π Today I didn't upgrade or replace anything that still works β every urge went into my money log instead of my cart
Day 6π¬ βοΈ Watch the one-day method and set tomorrow's reset rules +1β
π¬ Watch the one-day method and set tomorrow's reset rules
βοΈ Review your money log and name your #1 leak
βοΈ Read back through your money log from days 3-6. What's your most common trigger? Add up what your skipped urges saved you β that's real money you kept. Name your #1 leak in one short phrase (e.g. "bored-scrolling buys") and write the one rule you'll use against it tomorrow on your reset day.
Day 7π― Final challenge: your buy-nothing reset dayβ
π― Final challenge: your buy-nothing reset day
π― Spend one full day running your entire system: zero non-essential purchases, your boring habit done, your plan in sight.
This is the one-day reset you've been building toward all week. This morning, reread your 90-day plan out loud. Do a rep of the boring habit you chose on day 1. Then buy nothing non-essential for the whole day β every urge goes straight into your money log, not your cart. Tonight, add up what today would normally have cost you and drop your proof: what you skipped, what you kept, and the one habit you're carrying into the next 90 days. πͺ
